matching client needs to talent

When placing new staff in an organization, two things must be considered: the hard technical skills necessary to perform the job and the softer skills—communication, work style, and others—that match the cultural of the organization. Our Total Quality Sourcing, or TQS process ensures an efficient and productive match of your needs and available talent:

Determine Client/Project Needs

Initially, we learn as much as possible about the engagement be it for a solution or staffing. This includes discussing your project requirements, needs, budget, timeframe, and types of resources required. Understanding your culture is also important, making communication and other soft skills vital elements of a successful match.

One of our technical leadership team members reviews the requirements with you to ensure that we understand both the technical and business requirements. This information is then fed into our candidate-matching process.

Select and Screen

Next, we match these requirements against our core sources: our current bench, candidates submitted by our own staff, our recruiting database, and through various searches. Based on skills, availability, and interest, we then proceed to assemble a selection of candidates for review and screening by our technology staff.

Verify Competency and Fit

Our interview process covers both soft and technical skills, with a strong emphasis on the direct needs for the assignment while looking toward any future work that might benefit from the background of the candidate. At this time, we might discuss employment models, rates, and offer information to ensure the candidate is fully prepared to accept the offer if the position is of interest. Some preliminary background and records check might also occur here.

The best candidates are then forwarded to you for review. Often we find that the ratio of good candidates to the raw feed of selected candidates approaches 1 to 2 in 10; this will vary based on skill set and market conditions.

Client Interview Process

You then meet and interview the candidates you have selected. At this point, e-brilliance has only introduced you to properly vetted professionals and is not wasting your time by sending dozens of consultants who either are not qualified or are off the market. After the interview process, we discuss the meeting with the candidate. Any questions about the engagement are answered immediately.

The client then selects one or more candidates or requests that we search again in our talent pool.

Closing

Once you select your candidates for new associates, we complete background and reference checks ensuring the references and places of employment match stated information on the resume.

Active Management

We also understand that our responsibilities don’t end at assembling a team. We stay focused on our client and the engaged projects. We do so by keeping in close contact with our associates as well as with your managers, providing timely reports on project status and staying focused on achieving your goals.
